Best bang for your buck mobile phone cheap now?

Very long term ozbargainer, first time poster.

Just broke my phone and need a replacement. My phone knowledge is very limited but I am looking for a good bang for your buck mobile phone with great features for as little money as possible.

Have phones like the Motorola g6 plus in mind but please suggest other better alternatives if the price is right! Love the Nokia 7 plus too but it seems more expensive? (Any good deals around for this guy?)

Features I want are decent camera, decent battery, finger print scanner also would be nice. Don't need dual Sim or anything too fancy. Coming from a Sony Xperia z3.

Hoping to spend around the 300 mark. Would also love to be able to price match with JB hi-fi or Officeworks but this is not essential.
