          @nineninenine:
Ended up buying two (one for work / one for home)
          Cost - USD 19.78 + 1.96 GST = 21.76 USD
Total AUD on bankwest card is 27.54 AUD

so 13.77 ea - not bad?

I've had one for around a year. I use it at work so I just place the phone on the pad when I need some quick juice but grab the phone without fiddling with the cable. It charges the phone at a decent pace, but it does heat as it doesn't have a fan built in like the Samsung ones. Good for what it is though, just don't leave your phone on the pad all the time.

      • What would happen to my phone if I accidentally left it on the charger overnight?

        • +1

It will fully charge, then it will stop charging. Your phone would then sit there will you grab it in the morning. :)

        • @eug: '' just don't leave your phone on the pad all the time.'' he made it sound like it would blow up xD.

        • I've used one of these as my overnight charger for S8+ for about a year, no issues other than you have to line up perfectly. Works through my tough case.

        • @happykamper: Hmm I might buy this then. I have the base S8 64GB. I don't mind slow charging as long as it's done in under 5 hours.

        • @happykamper: These work though cases? I thought you'd have to take the phone out first. Will it work with a flip case?

        • +2

@Trishool: It actually works through my S9's Spigen case and Quad Lock bike mount.

        • @Trishool:
I had this working through my s7 edge case which also held an opal card in the back

I have this case, that has multiple hard plastic layers, including a kickstand right in the middle. Charger works fine with case on.

        • @happykamper: Awesome, thanks to everyone for replying!

      • Yeah the heating thing is slightly scary for me, I like to be able to just leave my phone on all night

I've got one from a previous deal, good quality for the price, QI charging is great. Probably getting another one for this price.

    • +1

Yep I have 2, one at home and one at work and they work fine. Fast charge, not as fast as a cable but still ok. Note the led is annoying, so I don't use mine in the bedroom, just in the kitchen and on my work desk.

    • +1

Another +1 vote here for this wireless charger. I use it at work. Supports fast charging if you use a suitable wall port. Considering getting another one for home, but bassmaniac is right about the LED light. While it rather dull dark blue, it might be annoying to anyone super sensitive. (You should easily tape over it I guess)

    • Received mine last week from the previous deal and loving it.

I'm back and forth from my desk to meetings fairly frequently, so being able to just sit it there to top up is handy.

Like others have said, the phone gets warm, but I believe this is standard with wireless charging.

  • +2

Note that this is not 10W charger and Qi is v2 and not Qi3,so not the fast charger compared to 10W chargers.

    • What makes you say this isn't a 10W charger?

Good Price, make sure to select the CN Warehouse to get this price.

BlitzWolf BW-FWC4 $21.79, I think a pretty good deal if you want you device to charge a little quicker, can charge an iphone x/8 at 7.5w instead of 5w, also Samsung s8/s9 at 10w (as long as the power adapter is outputting enough power)

    • also Samsung s8/s9 at 10w (as long as the power adapter is outputting enough power)

This also supports fast-wireless-charging Samsung devices.

    • Bought one

    • was going to pull the trigger on the BW-FWC4 but noticed that that it only allows for cases up to 3mm whereas this one allows cases up to 10mm. My case is pretty thick so I pulled the trigger on the BW-FWC1

    • if you want a charge overnight just get cheap one.

    • to use decent power adapter is valid point actually, since it comes with only USB charging cable. However, these terminology in terms of adapter (Volt, Watt, Amp.) hardly makes sense to me…. what do you guys reckon to look for when deciding on capable power adapter??!!

    • Will the FWC4 one work with a Tech21 case for an iPhone8 plus?

  • Would this work if connected to the Anker, Coosa, Tronsmart, etc. fast chargers?
    Inclined towards the BW-FWC4

  • These are a great charger. I have a few of them scattered around the house for my partners s8 and my note 9.

  • Fast charging works through spigen wallet case. Only bad thing is you have to line up the phone perfectly on the pad and the charging light is at the bottom of the pad. There's been a few times that I put it on the pad but wasn't charging.

  • What’s the difference BW-FWC1 and BW-FWC3? Beside the design

    • BW-FWC3 shares the same design as the BW-FWC4. If you have a slim case around 3mm you will be fine. The BW-FWC1 allows case up to 10mm…

  • Would you guys rate this better than the new Xiaomi one? https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/401358

I can't decide! They look like they charge the same. Xiaomi looks nicer

    • The Xiaomi is a Typc C input and 10 Watt wireless fast charger. It is abit better than the Blitzwolf BW-FWC4 one with 1mm increase.

      • Awesome, thanks for this! very helpful! Will get Xiaomi one.

  • Will this work for note8

    • Yes I been using one with my note 8 and wifes s8 plus.

I'm using my note 8 with this case and it works fine

      • Thanks mate, gonna buy one now.

  • I used one of these with an S7 Edge that has a UAG case and it charges it. Have to line it up the right spot though.

  • One of the FEW charges that actually work with the iPhone thats cheap!

eBay ones just beep on and off charge, they are NOT iphone compatible but do work ok with everything else
