"Cytus II" is a music rhythm game created by Rayark Games. It's our fourth rhythm game title, following the footsteps of three global successes, "Cytus", "DEEMO" and "VOEZ". This sequel to "Cytus" brings back the original staff and is a product of hardwork and devotion.

In the future, humans have redefined internet development and connections. We can now easily sync the real world with the internet world, changing life as we have known for thousands of years.

In the mega virtual internet space cyTus, there exists a mysterious DJ legend Æsir. His music has an irresistible charm; people fall madly in love with his music. Rumor has it that every note and beat of his music hits the audiences in
the depths of their souls.

One day, Æsir, who had never shown his face before, suddenly announced that he will be holding the first mega virtual concert —— Æsir-FEST and will invite a top idol singer and a popular DJ as opening performances. The instant the ticket sales began, an unprecedented rush occurred. Everyone wanted to see Æsir's real face.

On the day of the FEST, millions of people were connected to the event. At one hour before the event started, the previous world record for most simultaneous connection was smashed. The whole city was on its feet, waiting for Æsir to descent from the skies…

The original Cytus 1 is fantastic. One of the most well made and enjoyable games on a phone. Would go on to say that it is worth buying at full price.

    • Just buy a song pack! You get the game, and a couple more songs. Win win.

  • Oh man, I left it because I haven't finished getting S on Freedom Dive in the first game yet. Thanks!

  • Quick play through - get first 3 characters free. Each additional character (extra songs per character) runs $7.99-$14.99 per character. So far, didn't count properly, each character starts with 5 songs? As you play more you level up character to unlock more songs giving each character 10 songs - bringing total to 30 songs available. There are also other song packs to download too.

I guess the Cytus 1 model of unlocking a chapter per 100K downloads is not as profitable as purchasable song packs.

    • I think Reyark just got so big that they need the extra revenue lol. Their newer games, including this one, have so many fancy graphics and features compared to deemo and Cytus.

    • Update: played more of the game. Need to get each of the beginning characters to level 10 each to progress story to unlock more songs grrr.. compared to Cytus 1, there's now tempo changes (caught me out) and "Freezes" where you have to hold on for a small duration.

Seems like progression is easy if you play songs as easy, hard then chaos to accumulate points. Don't be like me who went chaos first and tried to go back to easy.

  • Over 1.5gb download

  • "Each additional character (extra songs per character) runs $7.99-$14.99 per character"
"A total of 70+ high-quality songs (30 in base game, 40+ as IAP)"
…..don't like the feel of this at all, no disrespect to the OP as the base is FREE, but how basic is that base?

Android reviews are overwhelmingly positive BUT there are flags re lag/doesn't run at all by some….no response by devs is concerning.

In the end "no" for me.

(new thought) If could use Google Reward dollars it would be excellent!

The 1.5GB size is a worry, though understandable with the content.

    • You're going to reject it without even trying it even though it's free?
