Went into GAME yesterday and found out they are offering an extra $5 trade credit on console games on top of their current rade-in prices. $10 extra for console trade-ins. Might be a good time for those wanting to get an Aussie 3DS.
They are also willing to accept Wii Play and Wii Sports for $11 each. Currently these titles are only worth $0.75 - $1.00 at EB. Would be good to round up a few of these from friends and trade them in.

Also, I hear they don't issue your credit on giftcards ie. you have to spend the credit you get then and there.

I had some leftover trade-in credit from GAME recently and they gave it to me in the form of a receipt. They said if I lose the receipt they may be able to retrieve it on the system. Now where did I put that receipt…
They refuse to put it on a gift card/credit note, something about pawn brokers licensing. They will put the change on a receipt like the guy above said.
Yes Wii Sports and Wii Play $6 normally, plus $5 for promotion makes it $11.
Not sure about credit on gift card, they did issue me with a GAME rewards card. I left the store as I was after cash. I've since found out that no stores offer cash any more.
An EB store I went to earlier said they'd match what other game stores were offering.

I've uploaded a spreadsheet of prices I asked for at stores and looking at eBay. I think some were higher at GAME.
I think GAME dont issue credits on gift card in NSW because of regulations, but possibly in another states.
game sucks they are a rip off.
but as for the credits, in NSW you get it on a receipt. Same sorta thing as a gift card but you just gotta be careful and not lose it..

Big problem with Game is they refuse to price-match if its below their cost price :\ what a load of crap!
Yeah I asked what their cost price was for a 3DS and they said $325. I might just hold onto the store credit for now. They said they could write the amount on a gift card instead of a receipt as well.
