I have been playing around with wireless chargers. Mostly paid around USD20 per item.
Saw this item on amazon.com.au - looks like either a great deal or a scam.

Features:

• folds flat or sits at angle
• place phone vertically or horizontally. 3 coil (apparently)
• temp control, over charge protection
• 10W for compatible samsung phones (with QC adaptor); 5W for compatible apple phones

Phones:
10W for Galaxy Note 8/5 S8/S8+ S7/S7 Edge S6 Edge Plus
5W for Galaxy S9 S9 iPhone X 8 8Plus
Presumably 5W for any other Qi compatible device
Does not include AC adapter

  Will this charge through a phone cover. Many of them claim they will but don't.

  Well, it arrived today. Found when in cradle mode it will not charge my Galaxy S7 if the 'phone was vertical. The blue light flashes for a while (a warning to say the mobile needs to be lined up). On the positive side it will however charge if the phone is horizontal or if the charger is folded. Go figure. It also does support wireless fast charging, and also charges through my cover (one of those Samsung LED things).
