How do you compare this to Hawkins Stainless Steel Pressure Cookers? I think their replacement parts are widely available and they last for decades.

Shipping fee is most likely location based. The OP is from Sydney (where Peter’s of Kensington is based) which is why his shipping rate is cheaper than yours.
Bought the 8L version of the Tefal PC and it is fantastic. If you ever wanted to use a PC but weren't sure about the techical aspects (ie. bringing up to pressure properly and releasing pressure safely) then I recommend Tefal as they have made it so easy.
does this one has a timer? Wouldn't it be easier to use those all in ones? Hope someone can tell me the differnece, I only use the pressure cook function but thinking the all in one is easier to use?
