Completely by mistake, today I found out that you can do a split payment hack with Coles eGift cards, and possibly all card payments.
Do a split payment, put in 2c less than the transaction amount. It rounds up, and lets you go without having to pay that final 2c.
At the end of the year, buy yourself a half-price Mars Bar, and think of me.

I did this by accident and there was an on screen prompt that the clerk noticed and called me out on.
This used to crash the machine at coles resulting in an incomplete transaction, no reciept and no flybuys points.

Yeah I do this.
But the ultimate goal is to always pay 5/7ths of a bill (saving ~28.6%) by doing cash split payments of 7 cents each time. If you do it a million times you'll save $20000 and can have smashed avo every morning like a gangsta.
Note that I haven't actually tested the limits so this is possibly impossible in Colworths. Otherwise I would just pay 2 cents at a time with cash and get 100% off.
Now that's what I'm talking about!
