Keen to buy a new GPU as I'm still using a 7950. Is this the best bang-for-buck AMD card at the present moment?

  It's a good value card. Best is subjective but the 570 4GB can be found for closer to $200 and has about 80-85% the performance

I bought this card from the last Computer Alliance sale. The MSI armor coolers are probably the worst out there, though this does have an extra heat pipe and slightly more metal mass (Plus backplate if you care about aesthetics).

If you do buy this make sure to set a custom fan curve since it's super loud under load at stock. Temperatures are manageable though.
