Can you please elaborate?
Hi nebulae.. Can you please expand on your comment? First I've heard of this
The booking has to be made directly through VA for the Amex offer, and when searching in the travel periods their return prices are a lot higher than the prices listed above.
excludes sale fares forget it.
Targeting West coast of U.S. in late June 2019. Whats the likelihood I'll get any discounted fares?
Feb/March ish.
School Hols will burn you though. Wont get anything sub $1000.
Thanks - it always does. Hoping to not pay the full price 1500 though!
Should be able to get around $900 on Air NZ/Virgin/Qantas. I fly June most years for an event, the cheapest I've paid is $823. I've never paid more than $950.
Not school holidays though? like Gearup said, $1000 at least for a direct flight
Dont Forget Cashrewards folks!
<$799 target price, well done!
Excellent price for direct flights, it's rare to see them below this
Yep, sub $800 with VA is a great deal if you can get the time off from work/study.
$4400 for Business is pretty good also. Usually 6/7k+
I would've imagined that fares to US would be expensive and everything US considering that our dollar is getting weaker to US. But why isn't it reflecting?
When the AUD is stronger…more people want to travel to the US…hence prices go up. AUD is down…demands drops … prices come down to entice.
They are gaining on the other end, all the fares bought in USD. The American carriers don’t have the luxury on gaining on the currency front across the pacific essentially making them more uncompetitive. End result is QF/VA fill more seats and gain more in yield.
In and Out Burger for all our travelling OZB frens!
What about travel in January?
25% off from Amex which ends today (Amex velocity targeted?)
