According to reviews, the same issue exists.
Thanks, I will pass then. It's a very annoying issue when I am outdoors.
Can't you just find a shaded spot between intervals to have a breather and check the screen?
This is my first sports band so I am willing to accept this relatively minor flaw for the price. The fact that it has a waterproof design and display notifications is a huge plus in my books.@87andcry: that doesn't help much. I cover it with my hand and still can barely see anything. otherwise, it is perfect. just really hope the new version would solve this problem.
Best price I've seen so far.
Bought and shipped from GB yesterday arvo for about +$5. This is a great price. The sunlight issue reminds me of when Android phones first came out. Am I the only one who instinctively taps their miband 2 when wanting to know the date, then realise there is no love for that?
You can change the display to show the time and date in the Mi Fit app
Yeah I have date on the miband 2…. I use gadgetbridge app though….
I can't seem to find it on my Notify and Fitness app though?
My Mi band 2 was useless in that it counted about 5 or more steps for every one that I actually took. I remember a number of other people posting similar things a couple of years back. Is this still an issue?
cant believe they havent fixed the dimmed issue on the band 2. its even hard to see in the dark.
Good price but this is the Chinese one, so only English on the app?
AFAIK, once you set it up with the app it displays the language that you set up in the app. I got one for my wife the other day and haven't noticed any Chinese on it since the initial switch on.
Was using Band 2 for a while and upgraded to Amazfit bip instead of Band 3 because of small and dim display. Worth an upgrade for extra 30 or 35 bucks. NOTE: Bip's battery life is amazing and no outdoor display issue.
Wife has a bip and its great. Buying miband for mum as she doesnt want a 'watch'. Maybe it'll turn out to be a gateway
Mine arrived yesterday.
Can anyone share the experience if you have one? I have Mi Band 2 which is great especially the battery duration. But under the sunlight, I can't see the displayed text at all. Does Mi Band 3 have the same issue?
