Just wondering if anyone have this problem paying with PayPal for outbound flight using Australian dollar currency.
I have successfully book flight to Hanoi Vietnam paying with PayPal unfortunately I couldn't do the same for the return flight. I'm buying separate ticket as need to fly back from Da Nang.
PayPal option is not available even when I choose AUD currency which is what Air Asia website suggests.

Did you end up using Poli to avoid fees?
I think I just paid by credit card.
airasia site determines origin by departure city , and not all AA country site offer PP as an option
Maybe too late now but could you have booked both legs under one multi-city ticket?
I tried before but it won't allow me. I think the multi-city was restricted for some routes as well.
I think you can still do Poli on the website but you get hit by the AirAsia conversion chargers so you may not be much better off.
For one way flight bookings, as far as I know, the flight has to orginate in Australia. I have never been able to use paypal for flights originating overseas.
I booked a few flights separately and couldn't see the PayPal option at all… ended up paying by CC and got stung their damn fees…NOT HAPPY Mr Fernandez!!!!
Funny thing is when I'm logged into my PayPal account AirAsia is listed as one of their merchants, but obviously that's not the case!!!
Yes i've had this problem before if the departure city is not Australia.
