Well,it regularly beats the stock market:

They all have up and down, eg Taj Mahal, was $1000+ then Lego re introduced
I opened my Porsche and intend to buy and open a Chiron, and play (yes play) with it with my son one day.
I got the Porsche as a present and now that Chiron is in my wish list (and I am 40).
The Porsche was not only incredibly fun to build, it is a little piece of art, the detail and ingenuity gone into putting that together is mind blowing… First you build the transmission and it is a WOW, then you build a paddle gear box, a differential, the suspension, the gears… all elegantly connected and working, and all with Lego pieces. When done you see this sets in a totally different way.
Old man yells at cloud. Most Lego sets are affordable kids themes and brick buckets, so what are you complaining about? That this simply exists? If Lego wants to design the occasional collector set for adults, good for them. Saying Lego 'used to be X or Y' is such a closed-minded attitude.
WTF you talkin bout Willis… I already made mine!!!

mind blown
wow…..
Makes me want to buy one though
$349 USD price, and that is about $460-480 AUD.
——‘Why did they price at $600 AUD then?’
——‘Come on, it's always like that in those tech goods.’If I'm brutally honest, I think it's bcos the world thinks we're dumb and rich.
I built mine in ~7hrs, over 10 days… bought the DJ offer.
I got the Porsche for $300 so now this seems expensive. 😕
I also got the porsche for $300, but considering that is a $500 set I will probably pull the trigger on the bugatti if I see it for ~$400
Be better if they made an AU Falcon lego
Goodness me, this is one ugly car model.
Be better if it had a smooth exterior, instead of the obviously-made-of-lego look it's got.
Still wouldn't buy one though.
Yeh. Who would want a car made of LEGO , to look like it’s made of LEGO.
It comes w/ a podcast… they explain it's a simulation of the car made w/ lego.

when you can't afford the big one and put in garage you get this and put in your bedroom…
Good price. I paid full RRP from Lego.
I've been watching out for this on special. Pulled the trigger and bought this. Also used $30 worth of Myer One gift cards so got it for $450 essentially. I bought the Porsche and that was the most difficult and rewarding LEGO set I've ever built. It's going to look good next to the Porsche 911 GT3 RS, UCS Slave I, UCS Millennium Falcon & UCS Star Destroyer.
I found the Bugatti a little too ez, apart from joining the 2 parts. The motor and under body is very solid, but the body is kind 1/2 arsed and weak w/ movable peaces… 1st Lego since the 90's.

Bought. Birthday and Xmas present. I’d like to thank the Minister of Finance for approving the purchase…
Get w/ the program… Fathers day… regardless if you have kids or not.
Ha ha. I do, but I went skiing last week for my Fathers Day present!
I’ll try harder next year!
Still available. Just bought one.
Waiting for the life size one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZQdlCQmzUAM
LEGO used to be about kids and creativity - this isn’t that - it’s a collectable unlikely to be ever opened (lest to reduce investment value).
