  • I knew it wouldn't take long :)

    I love Ozbargain!!!

    Nice +1

  • Excellent Deal… +1

  • this is better than BingLee.!!!!

  • Yeah I'm in adelaide and purchased from Bing Lee last week.
    Still hasn't shipped :/

  • The "Buy Online - Free Freight" link, lists the products with a higher price via their online store.

    • The 58" is showing a higher price but the 50" is the right price..

      • Prob a problem with their website at the moment.. hopefully they fix it soon

    • I see what you mean now. I didn't click on the “Buy Online - Free Freight”

      • They've fixed up the 58" price now.. but the 50" price is still wrong.

    • Still not fixed, if you click on the "Buy Online - Free Freight" link, it takes you to these pages:

      50"
      http://www.jbhifionline.com.au/plasma-lcd-tvs/plasma-tv/sams…

      58"
      http://www.jbhifionline.com.au/plasma-lcd-tvs/plasma-tv/sams…

Which don't show the same as the advertised prices…

Not denying the bargain, just pointing out if you want to buy online with free freight, it doesn't have the cheaper price.

      • Weird.. i swear the 58" was working fine for me when i did it a moment ago, but it seems to be showing the old price again. Maybe i'm going crazy.

      • OK 50" is DEFINITELY working.. even took a screenshot this time :)

      • Damnit, why haven't they fixed this?

I suppose it's a good thing, I wasn't planning on buying a TV until near the end of the year…

  • Extended warranty to 5 years $350 on a $1300 plasma ? Thats a bit too expensive ? What do you guys think ?
And yes the links link to incorrect prices.

  • Might be better to go in store and see if you can bargain to lower than warranty price.

  • Ive tried to source this price in country vic Harvey and Retra and they wan get no where near it. Plus it seams stocks of the 58/63c7000 seem to be drying up

  • come with any 3D glasses or Blue-ray player?

  • +1

1St Gen Technology wouldnt expect any better seeing they are getting rid of stock for 2nd Revision on 3D

    • Any idea when thats coming out?

  • JB you've done it again!!

  • anyone knows the power consumption of these boxes?

    • Supposedly twice that of a similar size LCD, or there abouts.
Having said that if there is $1000 difference (for example) in the price between LED and Plasma it would take you a LONG time to make any actual savings overall, dependant on usage patterns.
Plasmas do put out a fair bit more heat though so depending on where you plan on putting the TV that may need to be taken into account?

      • Heard from somewhere that new Gen of 50' Plasma could make only 150w consumption, if it's true there is no much difference between it and LCD..so want to know more.

  • Doesn't say anything about free pair of glasses? In that case BingLee/Eljo deal is better!

    • pretty sure these tv's all come with one pair of glasses in the box

      • The other deal came with an extra one so you get 2 pairs

  • AFAIK all Sammy 3D plasmas come with 1 pair, my 58" did. The same one here I paid $2300 for a few months ago… doh.

    Go the 63!!!

  • Ebay those glasses I got the starter pack with Monsters vs Aliens for 90 bucks.

  • I brought this for $2066 at JBHiFi over the weekend!!!

I'm going to the store tonight and trying to get the difference refunded, plus 2 of my mates who brought the same TV over the weekend.

Bloody hell! Who want's an old 720p 42" Plasma? The Missus won't let me upgrade :( Grrrr

    • +4

get a new missus… or man up. A man has every right to a new TV :).. and a fridge in his own room

    • My Missus is the same. I got an old 42" lcd 720p. She says we have to get a colour bond fence first before buying another TV
and I says why?? I can't watch the fence all day it's boring but at least we can get some pleasure when watching a beautiful 58" 3D Full HD Plasma.
She will not budge :(Grrrr x 2

    • +2

in that context its 'ball and chain' not missus

      • Hmmm must admit you might be right.

    • I can feel your pain mate, same case here :(
But at least you got 42inch TV, my TV is a 32inch 1080i LCD

  • 50C7000 is advertised for $1277 at Clive Peeters Dandenong

  • where's the 63" deals

    • still waiting for 63" for $2300 delivered.. and it will be mine!

  • This is very tempting but told myself I really don't need a 3d tv, can't see myself (or too many others) watching much other than avatar a couple of times in 3d, is a regular 58 any cheaper than this?

  • WOW is also selling the 58 inch model for $1799 (with Free Delivery but no 3D Glass)

Just rang Bing Lee on 1300 980 399 and ordered 63” for $2,299 with free delivery….thank you Dolina of Bing Lee!!

    • can you confirm it was the same model number and everything as a 63" of that TV is not even listed on their site?

      • Yup….it was the PS63C7000 with a free paid of 3D glasses in the box.

Just ring them and apparently you can negotiate a even lower price, my friend did : (

  • This just blows me away on how cheap these TV's are getting. I bought a 50" mine in October last year and paid $2000. I would have gotten a 58" but thought 50" was big enough.

Rule of thumb always get one up from what your looking at. I would so get a 58" now hands down.

This doesn't include any of the Samsung's promos so I suppose that's where I benefited and got it on finance.

    • Problem is, you get the one size up, and then in 2-3 weeks it looks small again….

  • Great Find…Thank You

  • nice!

  • are plasmas still crap for gaming these days? i know they were years ago

    • They have improved now.

  • Price on the 58"er has popped up to $1996 on the main website, but is still broken at $2696 on the online purchase store.

    Lame.

  • im getting 1496 now on the 50"

  • -1

yeah the price is incorrect in the description correct it or get negged

    • -1

      LOL wanna take another look?
Did u not see the description of On and Off?

      • so between the hours of 2.45am and 2.48am for every 3rd customer me sosorry

  • Wow it was $1796 for the 58", and glad I got in fast for my refund last night at JBHifi :D Just made an extra $200 :D

    • how do you made an extra $200?

      • he got the money he paid back

  • They raised both the 50" and 58" price by $200 last night… Dodgy pricks.. Im guessing low stock so they figure they will try and milk some extra $$$ from people.. Guess ill wait for the new models now

  • and now the prices are correct again… confusing.. Having said that.. If you are after this tv for 3d purposes.. They are having massive issues with crosstalk.. Check dtv forums for details

  • Just called up Bing Lee and got the 63" model for $2,299 +$100 delivery.. not too shabby :)
