So after my previous "furnitures" post, I've done a lot of researches and still believed the furniture selling in Australia is overpriced.

Therefore, I decided to open a online-based furniture store that sell furniture directly from the factory to customers.
I think a premium furniture piece doesn't have to have a 100% marked up just because the label.
All products we sell are directly from the factory using premium material.

    Not keen to drop $1000+ on furniture without seeing it in person.

    There are so many generic Chinese repros of this style and most are complete rubbish.

      Cant comment on what quality of other Chinese products would like.
      This is solid American Walnut so it is much better than other MDF made ones.
      I used to work as a buyer of an online store. Have to say most people want to buy whatever the cheapest online which usually just rubbish.

    Designers charge high amounts for their innovativeness and creativity….If you are selling replicas, arent these too expensive???

    E.g, the replica Eames Lounge Chair and Ottoman, I am sure has been cheaper at Aldi ($300) and copied by almost everyone.

      This is at least claiming to be real leather, not PU vinyl. But otherwise yeah.

      Those are Aldi ones are PU leather but this one is made from Genuine leather.
      The nearest one is from Glicks which selling at $1199 before delivery

      Having said that, hat off for Aldi as $300 is closed to the cost of a PU chair in China. Must because large volume and efficient logistic.

        Good luck op on your new venture but people looking for premium furniture wouldnt want to buy it online sight unseen and those that would, would probably buy cheapest replica.

          If the product is in faulty during the warranty period, we will return it at our cost.
          Our next step might be open a store in Waterloo SYD, hope this will help.

    I also share the opinion that Furniture in Australia is waaay overpriced. I think you have a decent price for the Eames replica and I would love to buy one but only next year when I finally complete my new home build. Hope you can offer the same price then to your fellow OzBargainer ;-)
