Personally, in your situation I wouldn't get myself involved in the movement of goods, only to use the price I've obtained as a suggestion to your supplier as you will leave yourself liable for any loss or damage if you insist that your supplier uses a carrier that is not of their preferred choice.
Shipping goods internationally is not as easy as one would expect as strict Customs requirements have to be met by the sender.
