Bitcoin and Hong Kong PayPal

Hey guys, I moved here from Hong Kong a while ago. I have some balance in a hong kong paypal account. Since its just sitting there, i recently thought id just buy some bitcoin with it.

However, that seems to be very difficult. Its my first time trying to buy bitcoin and it appears that every site that allows to use paypal for buying bitcoins has very bad reviews. How would you do it if you were me?

    Is crypto currency banned there? I read China has/will/might ban it but I'm not well informed.

    Try localbitcoins.com. You will probably pay a higher rate if using PayPal due to the inherent risk the seller of cryptocurrencies is taking on.

    Cant you transfer the BC balance to your bank account? Or just use it to buy other stuff?
