That said, $14.95 is pretty decent for a Turkish towel.
Note that the Turkish Lira has this year lost 38 percent of its value against the USD
Turkish towels of high quality are expensive.
I paid about $50 in Istanbul each for towels in Istanbul. They are absolutely stunning an worth it. They are not used but used as display towels as such.
I'm not sure of the quality of these. If these are just the ones you buy at some crappy store in the Istanbul Bazaar, than probably not. But if they are high quality and hand woven, than yes.
Hanging a towel on the wall as an art?
