Scary thing is…somewhere in the world there is a hooker cheaper than that per hour…

        • +4

          That only works on GTA

        • +1

might want to check with ur mum on that lol :D

  • lol what?

anyone knows who to watch? i dont know..never been

You could youtube some of the comedians, see if they tickle your pickle.

    • Jason Byrne for sure

  • +1

Saw Steven K. Amos last year and it was very good. Audience laughed as well as myself.

It's always a crap shoot going to shows you don't know anything about especially the cheap ones. Have seen some terrible shows but I also managed to catch Daniel Kitson in one of his early shows before he became a headliner.

  • Awesome deal!

Definitely going to pick up a bunch of tickets tomorrow morning :D

  • Awesome.. I'm planning a footy trip to Melbourne that weekend.. Didn't even know the Comedy Fest was on! Now I know about it and can score some "cheap" tickets!

  • Where does the code go?

    • Was about to ask the same? Went through all of the steps and there is no place to put the code…

Seems to be working now, just went back to this link and clicked through and it shows up under the pick how many tickets area.

      • Anyone see it?

        EDIT: I still don't see anything! Firefox 4 beta11

        • It's there under neil's link. All Arj Barker and Stephen K. Amos were gone instantly.

    • I'm not interested in this deal but in having a look there is a field to the right of ticket selection box
      ie. http://img594.imageshack.us/i/comedy.jpg/

      • Hmmm, the Jason Byrne show I want to see (Friday 22nd) doesn't offer that option!
Perhaps it's only valid for select nights?

        • They say there are only a limited number of tix so maybe none (left) for that session perhaps. ("A limited allocation of top-rating Festival tickets will go on sale for ONLY $20.")

What I don't understand is that some acts listed under this offer have the normal price cheaper than $20 (example $15, example $19.50) Maybe I am missing something here ;-)

        • Yeah, his Sunday show is available..

  • Tried to buy some tickets for Arj Barker and Stephen K. Amos. Both 'unavailable'.

Sounds like a gib to me!

btw the 'security' check images that this site produces are useless!

    • Honestly, Arj and Stephen are so popular they probably put maybe 4 tickets up at $20. They're going to sell out regardless, so they probably maximise their earnings.

      • Dunno why, both lost it years ago!

  • I got 2 x for Arj Barker and 2 x for Stephen K Amos on Friday 22nd April =] Had to refresh a few times before the "2020" option was available.

  • I got tickets for Arj Barker - Sat 23 Apr 2011, 09:15 PM

  • always wanna go but never been there before, is it $20 for one show, which last for around 10 min? on youtube most of the clips from montreal festival are less than 10 min, same here?

    • They do a Gala where lots are on stage for a few minutes each cracking a few jokes.

The festival here usually they go for around an hour or so I believe. I saw Pete Helliar a few years back, he was reasonably amusing.

      • alright that explains it, thanks

is it better to get a gala ticket as I may not get it? putting my eggs in lots of baskets?

  • This is great, thanks for posting! I just bought tickets for Pyjama Men - first row too!

    :(
Went through every Arj show and they all seem to be sold out.

I absolutely hate the Ticketmaster site. Making you go through a security check (which, by the way, forces you to make sense of gibberish instead of proper dictionary words) every time you want to SEARCH for tickets? Ridiculous.

  • Did anyone else get a $7.50 "handling charge" in addition to their tickets. I purchased two tickets and the total came to $47.50.

    • Mine was:

      Handling ChargeAU $4.18
      TicketFast® (Recommended) No Charge

      • oh I didn't see the TicketFast option, is this always available? Or do you have to join their card or something?

        • Nah it was the top radio button, but it was highlighted in a darker grey so it looked like a table heading.

    • Some had $4.18, others 7.50.

  • It's a bit misleading. There are pleanty of tickets available at $25.50 rate for Russell Kane but no tickets available at $20. Is there any small print that say the $20 tickets for 20 hours is limited to a number of tickets for each gig?

    • Yes.

    • bah too late

      • grumble
It shouldn't be too late as it says 'until 5am, Wednesday 23 February 2011'
but I'm getting "Show events near me: " when I click on anything

I can't believe every $20 ticket is gone.

Edit - something seems wrong with the site :/ Even when your are looking for normal tickets it takes you to that screen (Firefox)

edit2 - clicking the Find tickets gets me closer ( … if you drink and order tickets you're a bloody idiot)

        • Many businesses do that - Logitech's 100% cashback promo:

The promotion closed at approximately 1.30pm on the 1st February 2011. As per the terms and conditions, the promotional period was limited to "1st February 2011 to 28th February 2011 OR until AUD$300,000 in online cash back funds are exhausted, whichever occurs first." In this case, the funds have been exhausted first and hence this site can not accept any further claims.
