Hi guys I bought a used S8 recently and the actual cable that came with the charger was not genuine. Charging is so damn slow. The plug is genuine but the cable is not.
Question is; What is the fastest and cheapest cable for my phone? I'd really prefer to spend as little as possible.
Also just a side thing for owners of an S8, what case did you buy? I need one.

Braided, so they take a lot of punishment. More than capable of quick charge speeds, and they're USB3 for fast transfer.
I wouldn't go anything else because as yet I haven't had to throw 1 in the bin due to breakage!

Not on sale at the moment and I was hoping for AU stock under $10 (I live in WA so the closer the better). I would like to spend no more than $20 on both the cable and the case.
What do you think about what R-MAN posted?It'll do the job for a couple of months.
My advice is buy both cables. The BlitzWolf will take a while in post, but trust me it'll be your go-to!
What I'm doing right now is using a micro-usb cable with the stock MUSB-C adapter that's included with the s8. It's actually faster than the trash USB-C cable the seller gave me.
I need a case, should I bother with a screen protecter as the screen is already cracked?(how I got the phone for $320) I'll have to think it a bit more.Thanks for the advice, time is of the essence for me as I'm a very impatient person. I've actually considered going to Gumtree for the case and buying either yours or R-MAN's cable.
Hmm thanks I think what I might do is go for the cable you sent and just buy a cheap ass case. I'd say I'm a pretty careful guy so I don't want to spend that much on case.

I bought fast charging Anker cables from Amazon US earlier this year - really good quality, not really cheap but worth the $. The high quality fast charging Amazon branded cables are also pretty good.
My partner and I both have Spigen cases. I have dropped my S8+ multiple times on hard surfaces i.e. tiles and it's in perfect condition (I don't have a screen protector either).
