Just wondering if anyone knows a deal on postage stamps for lower than $1.
Found a listing on eBay, but is sold out. I am aware of the concession stamps, but I need more :)

Yeah think of all the counterfeit stamps used by bikie gangs and meth smugglers! The humanity!
or do they?
You think they'd engineer a way to make them non-reuseable too

(The tightarse in the photo needs more books in his bookshelves too)
I was just thinking it's kinda strange that we never hear of counterfeit stamps.
Because there is no market for it. The sender's address is on the envelope!
I mean, I assume for the same reasons you don't see counterfeit $1 or $2 coins.
Though in metal working classes a bunch of us did find that if you get the size and thickness just right, a brass piece cut from the feeder rods was enough to fool vending machines in school…
Ebay will be your best source and there are always heaps of listings
I've spent some time looking for some, but when I sort them from cheapest to most expensive, theres so much vintage stamps :/
I should have said that alternatively I can sell you all the $1.00 stamps you want for just 5c each. But they will be used!
how much you happy to pay for them?
probably around the 70-80c mark.
rough qty you are after?
around 50 or so. But always looking to stock up :)
there was a heap last month eg $22 Face Value for $15, as sellers were taking advantage of the ebay plus postage scandal, but don't think they will be that cheap again, as ebay has cancelled a few sellers accounts because of it.
I bought one to check the validity because it was to good to be true.
What was the scandal?
not for the buyer, all legit, has been mentioned before, everyone got their stamps, and got a good discount.
Scamming eBay - sell lots of say, 5 x $1 stamps for price + $20 postage. Buyer buys 100 stamps = 20 lots. Seller gets paid by eBay (under eBay Plus) for 20 x $20 of postage, sends all the stamps in one envelope which costs them $1 postage.
I was just thinking it's kinda strange that we never hear of counterfeit stamps. They seem to have no protection measures on them.
