Yes it's from NQR and it is short dated to September (late Sept I believe), however, since we have it in a catalogue I'm sure any local Dans will price match this deal?

    I'm still mulling over this or the Asahi 350ml for $37. As for this, not the worst tasting beer and for $30 you can't go wrong?

      i like Belgian beer some as Flyingmoo mentions has a perfume to them, whether they are slightly fruity or even a little flowery, again i love a good Belgian beer :) quite different to Asahi

        Blanche De Namur my favourite of the Belgian Whites that I've tried (Hoegaarden no comparison IMHO, but can't go wrong @ $30)

        @bamzero: i like hoegaarden every now and then, my faves are Delirium (#1 Fave), Guillotine, Duvel Golden and the lighter Chimay beers… :) Will check out Blanche.. thanks for the advice.

        Ah yeah, don't mind me a Chimay either, a bottle of Saison Dupont always goes down well too.
        Is Delirium that stuff that's pretty potent, 8 or 9%?

        @bamzero: yeh delirium and guillotine are 9%.. also very easy to drink so… yeh can get messy if you lose count hahahaha

      Why wouldn't they price match? I don't see anything in their terms that would prevent a price match. I guess they could say it's a "clearance" item. There’s also nothing in the NQR catalogue about it being short dated so surely would need to assume it's the same product

  great deal except it seems NQR now stands for Normally Quite Regional. No stores withing 20km of Melb CBD. They used to be everywhere.

  luckily for me I have Dan's and NQR within 10mins drive of me so was able to get a price match over the phone ! thanks

  Thanks OP, using this catalog was able to get price match at 1st Choice and then price beat at Dan’s ($29 per case). Not sure why this hasn’t got more +’s than what it’s currently at!
