there is, probably, a correlation there :)
I hate Booking fees
Hi Supasaiyan,
Totally agree, nobody likes fees and they should be avoided where they can be.
The good news is that IMAX has given you the option to avoid the fee if you use the voucher directly at the cinema. The only downside to not booking ahead is of course that the session may be full or have limited seating, so it would be wise to check on how full a session is before going to the Cinema.
Hopefully that is helpful to you.
It's such a strange thing, you go for a $49 gig, but it's actually $56.97 with fees - no other way, even though it's advertised as $49.
Here, at least, you can redeem it at IMAP for free.
EDIT: nothing worth iMax for me ATM
Actually, to whoever says there is nothing worthy, The Dark Knight is being screened tomorrow, and later there is 2001 and Forst Man (with Imax sequences).
I wish we had an IMAX here in Brisbane….
I love going to IMAX too, but sometimes I think you could get a similar experience by just sitting in the front row in the Cinema. We saw the original Star Wars that way and when Luke went down the trench on the Death Star we went with him. (It was a time when the graphics on the movie was just incredible).
is it still available ? :(
