They just got back to me (in 18minutes)

          Hi,

We can offer a WHOIS protection service with our domains for $6.95/year. This will hide your personal details from the public and any whois queries.

This service can be selected once the domain is registered, log a support ticket and we can add this on for you.

If you have any further questions let me know.

          Cheers,
          Ari

        • +1 for the effort. thanks!

        • No problem!

After signing up for a domain a couple of years ago (which doesn't provide privacy protection), I'm not terribly inclined to use my domain because my address is available for anyone who wants to grab it.

Figured it's a deal breaker for others also.

  • does anyone know of someone who can make a website for me cheaply?

  • Hi,

Sorry for the newbie question. I'm thinking about building an online store. I can use .com instead of .com.au for Australian web store? I mean is there any requirement to use .com.au in Australia? And with .com.au, can I register privately or is it exclusively for .com only? Thanks.

    • No requirement, it just helps people know which country you're from.
