Should of clarified, meant what are the differences between the USB-C to lightning & Lightning to 3.5mm with MFI as compared to ones that don't. I know they may damage the port but how often does that actually happen?
Simply you asked what's the difference between MFI and non MFI?
I haven't identified any issues with Non MFI cables "damaging the port" on my phone. I just find they tend to break after a couple of days/weeks and occasionally pop up with a warning message on my phone. Considering you can get MFI eBay cables for less than $5 I don't really see the point in going for anything not MFI.
I'm guessing the lightning is the male and the other two is the female? So 3.5mm audio to use 3.5mm headset and the USB c one is to use USB type cable, to charge, not sure what else as I don't use USB c.
Non MFI products may damage your lighning connector port.
