I'm wondering why their plans don't get more love from ozbargainers when they're on special. It appears to me that they offer great value for people with low usage requirements. I'm asking because I'm about to move 3 people onto their discovery lite plan when it next go on special and I'm wondering if there is something I don't know.

I don't see much wrong with that. Off the top of my head I can only think of Telstra, Optus and Vodafone having their own infrastructure, all the smaller telcos are basically resellers.
well many ppl still have contracts with some big ones…since iphone 4 just released:P everyone got a new phone with plans coz thats cheaper…so if they are binded to contract they cant even switch when they want to.ie me, yes liveconnected always have better deal and i been using optus forever, but my contract doesnt even end till later. despite great saving, i dont wanna pay exit fee on my contract.
please have new deals every months:P then i will be able to switch once my contract finished:P
Yeah, i wonder that too. But i switched over when they had their 6 months free promotion and haven't had any problems. Also because they're using the optus network, people with free calls to optus can still call you. I think they only thing is they don't have telephone customer support but they generally deal with Internet quires within 24 hours. Oh and you should like their facebook page because i think they release specials there first.
