We are looking to book a honeymoon package to a nice resort in Maldives early next year. After a quick research we have noticed that there are quite a lot of options available.
Each travel agent (both Australia based and overseas based) had different package in place which are very confusing. We have never been on a luxury trip previously. Just want to ask our ozbargainers and see who may be able to give us some advices relating where to book and what agents we can consider.

Yeah. We tried but the price is not competitive. Saw a couple deals on luxury escape but the resort is not our cup of tea.
Got a couple other resorts in mind but the local travel agents (e.g. luxury escape or flight Centre) do not offer any deals. Not really comfortable with making bookings with overseas agents.
Don't have a recommendation, but can say we went there for our honeymoon and it was amazing. Its made up of small Atolls. Arrived at airport in evening. Was boated to Male with a full moon. Stayed there one night before being transferred to our resort island. Had a bungalow on beach. Little verandah with a hammock. Did a few snorkel day trips and island hops.
