  • (or 56 cents/can if you recycle them all).

    That depends where you live.

  • Includes:

    • Classic
    • Diet
    • Zero
    • No Sugar

What about the new 'No Sugar Orange' ?

    • What about the old "Coca Cola Raspberry" and "Vanilla" ?

      • Are they still available?

        • they are, as well as "life"

      • When was the last time you saw a block of vanilla Coke?
Never seen the raspberry Coke above a free mate 8 pack

    • I find it weird that they don't do the limited run flavours in 375ml cans, but they don't.
(Ginger Coke, Coke Plus Coffee, Coke Orange, etc.)

        I wasn't aware of that…

Shame, because I like the new orange one, but I'm not going to pay a 300% surcharge to buy smaller cans…

  • $16 where I work - Brisbane

    • Can we buy it from there too?

      • Hamilton harbour metro. Might be $16.50, can't remember.
        Seems to be ticketed price.

        • Queensland’s Container Refund Scheme will commence on 1 November 2018.

          $3 difference for a 30x pack come 1st November.

Same theoretical price for the NSW, SA + other recycling states if you actually recycle the cans at a machine/outlet that participates.
Alternatively, your council will get the 10c if they pick it up from the kerbside.
Or if not claimed, the associations keep the 10c.

        • @MorriJ: Get ready to see poor saps with trolleys/prams/huge hessian sacks collecting cans and bottles anywhere there's lots of people. eg. CBD

    • Yes, in Qld there is no can rebate so I think it is 16.50 + (30 x 10c) a can - plus 35c for some reason.

$2 per litre doesn't sound a good deal.

Not that i drink it….but I'm sure I saw 30 pack cans in Coles for $16.00. Queensland.

  • Costs are actually higher in SA due to the refund…

    • But the business could simply take less profit instead of passing on costs, these are high margin products.

Is it actually higher in SA though because that's what the beverage industry says but obviously they're the wrong people to ask or listen to.

      • At my local Woolies they are. Not that I’ve asked recently but definitely in the last year. I asked a checkout operator why the difference from online and she explained about the cost difference here due to the refund.

    Not a great price.
Both Coles and woollies do 30 cans for $18 quite often

    • Agreed!!

I drink a lot of this stuff (diet) and you can more or less guarantee that either 24 or 30 will be 40% or 50% off at either Coles or Woolies. I buy what I need @40% and stock up at 50%.

Having said that I do miss Diet Pepsi - better product, cheaper price :(

    • Yep. Anything below $1.60 per litre is a bargain for the cans.

It's been a fairly long time since I've seen Coke Zero cans in anything but the 24 packs. The 10's and 30's went away ages ago in NSW at least. Stocking up wherever I see the 24 packs on sale, given that Coke are apparently saying that September is the end of Zero altogether (https://www.smh.com.au/business/consumer-affairs/farewell-co…)

  • Aren't these often even cheaper? At Colsworth in Vic at least, while 40 or 50% off.

My local IGA this week offers the 24-pack for $15.90 and, 6 metres away, the 30-pack for … … … $40.10!!!

    • Similar to the bottle deals, every second
week the 2l costs 25% less than the 1.25l one.

      • And the 30-pack has been selling. It always astounds me that so many people pay no attention to prices.

      • At Woolworths, we have the 2l coke varieties on permanent price drop for 25c less than the 1.25l bottles. Smort

      • +1

Yeah and everyday the 600ml is like twice the price of the 1.25 or 2l

    • +2

In my store, the 30 packs are $16, and located next to the 24 packs (~$26). Despite that, we sold a couple 24 packs, and some idiot got 3 10 packs for $36…

      • I will never really comprehend why people willingly overspend so stupidly. Even if I had won the complete Powerball on Thursday I would still monitor prices.
