Some nice looking coffee tables.
Being the ozbargainer that I am I tried to squeeze a few more dollars of the price for a couch they had today.. They didn't budge :(… I still went ahead with the purchase… BUt I am deciding (over night) about whether to also get the uniters extra cover for 5 years that they offer.. It costs 199 bucks extra… It "allegedly" covers for 5 years accidental damage lke spillage of coffee and damage caused by pets (Cats) etc etc… This is what the salesmen has told me.. I then went looking for information on the company uniters & suffice to say they have a huge behemoth of bad reviews where they offer this same type of service in North America.. Seems to be alot of "gotchas" in the conditions such as you must tell them within 10 days of an issue occurring and if its a stain you must be able to tell them exactly what caused it etc…
That is howwver in North America.. I cannot find any reviews with them in Australia.. Has anybody paid the money for this extra cover & had to actually use it in Australia? For me the idea of spilling a coffee that leaves a stain being covered sounds great.. Hypothetically they would come out and if they can't get it out you would get a new seat cover.. Similarly if a cat clawed the side of it that would also be covered… But given the appauling reviews of Uniters, I am hesitant to fork out the money for this…
Once again, has anybody paid for this & actually needed to use it here in Australia??
Found the cover extras to be dicey depending on retailer.
IN OZB fashion you wouldn't as its just as easy to apply stain and water resistant spray which just as effective in prolonging the life of the material. It's also a fraction of the cost without the concern of coverage.
Any bargains?
