2018 Equivalent of The Hisense 55n7?

Hi all,

So I came home today to find my 3yr old son has killed my recently purchased Hisense 55n7. He's used a toy as a hammer and wrecked the led screen. It now has permanent vertical and horizontal lines in some sections of the screen.

I'm going to delay buying a new TV for a little while to teach him a lesson.

What's the 2018 equivalent to the 55n7? I only paid $800 for it during a Good Guys 20% off sale a few months ago. A few shops have the 55p4 for <$1000. Is that equivalent to the 55n7 in quality?

    55P7 would be the direct equivalent, the letter designates the year.

    Check out the Linden 55. TGG had a n7 next to a linden & the colors were much better on linden at half the price.

    From some reviews it appears there's not much difference between the P6 and P7 in terms of picture quality. I'll try a few stores to see if that's the case.
