Yeah was cheaper in that deal
Dammit I was close haha
Cheapest, aside from a crazy pricing error, is still pretty good! :)
- 5-YEAR MANUFACTURER WARRANTY
Doesn't Crumpler do a lifetime warranty or does it not apply when buying through COTD?
Yep no more life time warranty. Was in the Lt Bourke St store the other day getting my Nhil Heist (circa 2008) repaired and thought of getting a new one, but was told 5-year warranty applies to all new bags, it's not just COTD.
That's a shame, lifetime warranty was really the main selling point for their bags. At this price, a 5 year warranty isn't bad but their more expensive bags are a real rip-off. I wonder if they also reduced the quality of the new bags.
And $35.95 with Club Catch. But is it compatible with the Family Jewel Pouch? (And why does that make me snigger when I am way too old to find that funny?)
What's so good about these? Only two pockets?
I have a Dry Red No 6, apart from being way bigger than i wanted, its so much better built than any other bag I've had before.
Right so it's an insanely basic bag that's well built. I would get it if it had a few compartments to store cables etc rather than just two pockets.
Will it fit a laptop and a lunch bag/box?
"Padded sleeve fits up to 15" laptop"
@jonathonsunshine: So you put the laptop AND lunch box inside the laptop sleeve?
@OnlinePred: I dunno guy, laptop sleeve will be at the back of the bag, up against your back. So the rest of it will be pretty much empty but I don't know how big your lunch box is…
@jonathonsunshine: Well I bought it, now expecting it to be the most amazing bag I have ever used.
@OnlinePred: you got pranked bro
@jonathonsunshine: yep. Will resell on gumtree for profit
@jonathonsunshine: wow def not worth the money! Can't believe it's RRP $129!!!!!
@OnlinePred: I'm not sure if you were trolling or not. Sorry you're not happy, is bag actually built ok? I mean, if it looks like the pictures and you were complaining from the pictures before you bought it and now it's delivered . .
@jonathonsunshine: It seems fine. although seems just like my old bag that I paid $35 for. I mean it's great that it's waterproof etc, but I guess I was expecting it to be amazing for the price - but it is just a super basic simple bag. The front pocket barely fits anything in it, and the main pocket seems fine.
I believe they were $36.40, as part of stacking discount error (further 44% of sale stock). But close! :)
(I have an unused ochre coloured one lying around from that deal…if anyone happens to prefer ochre to midnight blue, I’m happy to do a swap!) :)
