  • Was this price too at first choice and Liquorland warehouse too. I suppose Dan's is doing the same thing too

Thanks. Got some cheap apple juice.

I have a fundamental problem with drinking cider out of cans. After the drinking the recent hard cider deal at Coles the other week. Just isn't the same unless out of a bottle (kinda like a beer really).

you're. prefer. If you're going to criticise, at least try to make sense.

@Waynes world: Noticed that after I'd commented, but didn't want to overwhelm the guy.

        • Add:aerate

        • @Waynes world:
They correctly used too both times.

        • You are right. I stand corrected, whilst remaining seated.

So pour it into a glass?

      • +2

So simple a solution…yet it actually works!

    • +2

Someone need to invent a bottle top to clip on a can!!!

      • You could try it and if the taste is good patent and make a killing

      • You can buy plastic ones from ebay :D

        • was it a million dollar idea, are those eBay sellers living the good life now

    • I get what you’re saying. But it’s only a transport device, for me.

IMO, HAS to be in a big glass (pint/schooner), with ice.

  • Normally $27 at BWS. Currently on special for $22.

1st Choice Liquor has them for $21 which appears to be the usual price.

    • Normally 24$ and on sale for 20$ in WA, must vary depending on recycle scheme

      • $20 at the BWS i went to in VIC.

        Coupon shaved another $5 off.

This code is generic not unique.

    • +1

      Wanna share it?

      • You can look into yourself, I was busy at the time and replied via phone. Keep down voting peeps who are giving useful information, well done.

        • If the code is exactly the same for everyone, why not share it? Are you worried they will trace it back to everyone.

    • +1

      Proove it please

  • Cool, now to decide on the flavour.

  • Can I use this for cooking? Or too sweet?

  • Which is less sweet: cloudy apple or apple?

    • +1

Never tried the cloudy apple, but from here:

Designed to be less sweet that Somersby's original apple cider, the new cloudy apple has been released in both a bottle and can pack.

    • Cloudy. Says Semi-sweet on side of can. Agreed. I’m forever stuck between lolly water & dirty. I’ll find a regular one day.

  • +1

Tastes like flavored chemicals, Shaken not stirred ;)

    Offer not available in NT…

    This promotion is STUPID!
I tried it once before and could not get it to work.
This is because the promoters assume everyone receives thier emails via thier phone.
Furthermore it assumes these emails are retained on your phone.
How far from reality this is. I feel like calling the promoter and complaining.
You must click REDEEM in the email you received when you are at the store ready to buy and have about 20secs to do so.
Too bad if you read your emails from a computer - you cant REDEEM!

    NB: Conditions of Entry say:
"After submitting the entry form the claimant will be emailed a barcode for redemption at any BWS store within Australia "

If this was the case there would not be a problem.
Obviously they havent read thier own terms and conditions
What a bunch of incompetent fools

Hence NEGATIVE VOTE even though its a good deal.
No offense to OP and thx.

The code is generic, you don't need to use it within 20 seconds.

    • +2

      So…you don't own a smart phone?

Here is a MUCH BETTER DEAL and you dont need a coupon which you cant redeem
Just need to be be a member of Dan Murphys

    Kopparberg Hard Apple Cider 7% 6 x Cans 440mL Just $12

    https://www.danmurphys.com.au/product/DM_629636/kopparberg-h…

    • +6

      Much better how?

      BWS - 3.75L @ $15 = $4/L
      DM - 2.64L @ $12 = $4.55/L

And that doesn't even factor in that you'll get more money back from the recycling depot when you cash in 10 cans as opposed to 6, assuming you live in a state or territory where that is possible.

    • +1

…a coupon which you cant redeem…

Apostrophe - like a coupon for punctuation that it seems you also can't redeem…

    • Someone failed maths.

    • +1

Sweet I'll just pop down to my nearest Dan Murphy's… 3500km away. Four BWS within 10km but prob worth the extra drive…

    • Who can’t redeem?

  • Thanx. Usually buy these on special for $20

  • +2

    happy bargain bws shop!

  • Thanks, Probably the first time I've bought any alcohol. I got pear cider. The cashier wasn't familiar with this coupon, but he scanned the bar-code and it worked, so all was good. The normal price is $27 I think, and was marked down to $21.

    • +1

Shouldn't it have been $15 as per the coupon price??

      • I think he means it was marked down from normal weekly special?
It was $22 in NSW (prob 10 x 10c), down from original $27. And then $15 after scanning.

Somersby is GUILTY of false and misleading advertising as the official terms and conditions are totally different to those showing on the page

Complaint sent to Dept of Fair Trading

    • lol.
