Travel Insurance Recommendation that has option to extend it

Hi guys, will be travelling around with first few stops in HK, South Korea and Kochi, then onwards to Europe. My length of stay in Europe is undetermined, but will be up to a year, minimum of 6 months.

Because of this i'm preferably looking for travel insurance that will allow me to extend my stay in the event i do stay longer than 6 months. Instead of buying the 1 year, and not using it.

If there aren't any that allow that, then recommendations in general are fine :)

    most will allow you to extend, i did mine with world nomads.

    HOWEVER it's not considered an extension, it's a new policy. This means, an injury in the original contract is a pre-existing injury in the second.

    Have you looked up how much you actually save by getting 6 months over 1 year? After a few months the price is usually negligable

    I’ve extended mine before and it’s been reissued at the same policy number.

    I would find the cover you want and give the insurer a call to confirm how it works.
