1) First of all , does your speaker have the burnt smell ?
I noticed strong burnt smell when unboxing and now it has been a week past, still has the scent of electronics burnt.
2) Does your mid-high range lacks clarity ? I'm not sure what my expectation should be but my $20 Koss KSC-75 headphones has MUCH better details & staging (can hear a lot more different sounds that went missing on W7)
The bass is deep & tight as i like it though. But the mids/high are muddy as hell.
3) Do you leave your speaker on 24/7 ? Seems a bit warm when i touch the bottom aluminium base.
I didn't notice a burnt smell. I like the sound but im not really an audiophile, it's very different and some songs don't sound right, but then again i like hearing them differently. For example it seems to emphasise the bass and cuts the guitars. If playing from a computer, can adjust EQ with VLC. I would have liked an EQ in the app. I keep it on 24 hrs but haven't touched the base, figure just keep it on (no off button).
