Beer Bundles at Woolworths - $18 Dos Equis Lager Especial 6 Pack + Old El Paso Assorted Meals

20

Woolworths offers bundled offers and I only discovered them by accident. There's no posted start or end date and it looks like you can only order them online.

Dos Equis Lager Especial 6 packs have been paired with various Old El Paso meal packs, $18 each. The beer is currently $21.40 at the Woolworths website and $20.99 at Dan Murphy's. The few OEP packs I looked at are currently around the $7 mark.

Mexican Fajita Kit And Beer Bundle

At the link you'll also find McCain's Beer Batter Chips & Wedges bundles as well as booze bundles.

I'm noting again, that these specials don't seem to have a pattern and I've missed out on 2 bundles because I waited to order with a regular shop.

  • Are the El Paso meal kits expired? ;)

    • You could order these delivered and then get a refund if they're expired when you call customer service. More than likely, they'll let you keep the kits. I like to live dangerously and would be delighted with the result, though. :)

I was just making a dad joke haha. I hope they wouldn't be expired!

  • Last time they had this deal on couple months ago the beers they supplied expired the following week

We're Aussies! Do you need more than a week to drink 6 beers? :)

      • It was 24 beers as i had ordered 2 x the 6pack deal and it was 2 for 1 so 4 x 6 packs in total with expiry the following week

    Cheers good find :)

Last time it was 2 for 1 - now that was a deal! This time, not so great a deal IMHO.Example - the Jumbo or the Normal taco kit - it's $4.75 just for the kit. That means you're paying $13.25 for the 6pk of Dos Equis (the equivalent of $53 per carton). Not exciting if there's even a remote chance something will be near expiry.

$18 for a 6 pack is like $72 for 24, if you buy by the slab you get the beer cheaper and you can buy whatever food you want.

Only time I consider 6 pack a deal is it works out to be the same or cheaper than by the slab, eg $10 6 pack deals of coupons or bonuses after min spend.
