It'd depend on the exhaust. But whatever you do, don't update the ECU - apparently they revised it to decrease the popping in the exhaust note.

Well, ladies can be car enthusiasts too.
It's actually one of easier ways to refer to a specific model, especially when referring to ones that have naming conventions like BMW who don't differentiate between year models in the name of the car.
Also - Mini is owned by BMW, so technically, Mini drivers are BMW drivers…

I don’t see why not. It’s more the amount of unburnt fuel the ECU allows thru.. Factory tuned ECU hardly allows for any pops & bangs - if you’re after some real noise, go for a custom tune such as Manic - if you don’t mind a little extra sound at the expense of potentially blowing up your engine and voiding your warranty. lol
