This "final clearance" has been going for a while. I nabbed a Netti D4 for $10 (RRP $220 apparently…)

Windstoppers/Spray Jackets/Jerseys/Jackets around $5 and $10
Gloves around $10, but mostly sold out.
Longs with Chamois $10
Thermals $8
SpeedFil (lots of parts for $5. No idea how much it normally costs)

  • Any idea about the quality?

    • +1

The items are from various manufacturers; cycling jackets normally costing $200 are much better than those costing $15 from Target. Check carefully, however, the individual manufacturers' stated sizing - Netti jackets, for example are quite small (off by about 2 sizes for me).

      • Oh, thanks. Thats helpful. Is Netti a good brand or is the quality good?

        • They are the brand aldi sells when they do bike stuff. It's reasonable quality but not fantastic.

        • @Same Same: They're the "brand name" brand aldi sells. ALDI also sells their own brand cycling gear.

        • +1

I think it's an Australian brand but I don't know where it's manufactured. It's also sold in Rebel (recently had women's jerseys down to $5), Aldi, Reid Cycles…

I bought my daughter a couple of Netti helmets from 99Bikes and had to return them both as the glue holding the inner cradle kept detaching from the shell.

  • Thanks OP!

    As OP stated has been going for a while. Can vouch for the following;

    • Cinettica Arm Warmers - Good quality, bought 4 pairs @4.99 each which should see me through a couple of winters
    • Cinettica Leg Warmers - as above
    • Lezyne front/rear LED lights @5.99 - Brilliant lights for the price, low in Lumens but perfect to clip on backpack or hot spare if you forget to charge your main.
    • Netti Winter gloves - Great quality for the price.
    • Bought my 9yo daughter any jersey that will fit her for the foreseeable future (10+ items in varying sizes to accommodate growth), Craft/Netti/Cinettica and all very good quality. Well worth it.

Sizing wise, i'm on the extreme side of the weight scale for a cyclist, 6'4" and 145kg. XXL in arm and leg warmers were perfect with plenty of room without riding down, the Netti gloves at XL are snug without being tight.

As for Pushy's the store. Fast postage, and excellent service. Echoed sentiments amongst my cycling group too.

bear in mind with storing jerseys for a long time - the elastic bands/trims may deteriorate over time and may lose its elasticity

That's what I have found in my jersey bought 5 years ago… though I really love its design I don't want to wear it

      • +5

That only happens for jerseys you like. :P
I have an ugly jersey that's nearly 16 years old, and I'm still just waiting for it to wear out!

  • +1

Some great deals here. The Lezyne KTV Drive Light set is a steal.

  • Are these good value if you dont cycle Or is it better just to layer the shirts I already have laying around for the winter?

    • +5

Cycling jerseys/jackets are made of specific materials and have a long cut (and pockets) at the back so they will look a bit odd if you are not cycling.

  • +1

Thanks OP! Note that delivery does cost abit if you're getting one or two items ($12 Aus Post regular/$15 Express). I assume this is a flat rate though.

  • Brilliant thanks! Stocked up on a few things for the nieces and nephews. Shipping for $12 is reasonable once you throw in a few helmets :P

  • +2

    shipping kills the deal

  • -4

I'd rather pay a bit extra and get Rapha or Maap

    • +7

      that's a big "bit extra"

    • +5

/s Yeah true. I was looking at buying a Camry but went that bit extra and forked out for a Porsche……..

    • +1

I suspect that "bit" might be upwards of ten-fold in many cases.

      • Yeah, walked in to that Rapha store on Guildford Lane… Walked out again quickly. If they dropped a zero off the end of their prices I'd consider them.

        • I only ever buy Rapha on a really good sale. (50% etc.)
It is indeed super nice stuff.

        • @damion: I think I'd be reluctant at 50% off, but it would definitely make it more palatable!

        • @ely: Well. Not sure of the exact percentage, but when their core jerseys are $50, they're definitely worth it.

        • @damion: I'll keep an eye out for it and check :D I'm taking the piss - I know they make nice stuff, it's just savagely priced and I'm a cheap bastard (hey, we're all on OzBargain).

Pretty annoying website that lists out of stock items as well

    • Hit the filter and select “in stock” yes

I actually really like their website. Ordered maybe 100 items total from clearances and have never had any cancellations from low stock.

      • +1

Where is this 'filter button' ?

        • +2

On my phone, but doesnt seem to appear on laptop.

  • +1

I guess they’re pushing all the clearance stock out

      • +2

Puns are the only reason I come to this site.

Some prices are same on Ebay and amazon at Pushys stores, e.g., helmets. Can get free delivery with Ebay+Plus, Amazon prime or additional discounts with ebay vouchers. Also has click & collect, or free delivery with $100 at ebay.

    • +2

I wasn't able to get free delivery despite having Ebay Plus, do you have to do anything special to obtain free delivery?

      • Free delivery only on Ebay plus items, just checked T&C's of Ebay Plus.

4.4 You are only entitled to the benefits set out in clause 4.1 when you purchase eBay Plus items for personal/ domestic rather than business purposes.
4.5 You are only entitled to free delivery on an eBay Plus item when:

4.5.1 You purchase the item using PayPal or a credit/ debit card; and
4.5.2 You purchase the item using the “Buy it Now” function (not “Best Offer”).

    • +4
