Also I found these to be quite uncomfortable. Pegasus, Epic React, Air Max and even Flyknit Racers are more comfortable than this.
Yes, Huarache is hideous. The adapted version from Adidas (Prophere) would be a much better choice, even though I personally do not like the outer soles as they look like you're having boats on your feet.
balenciagas are worse but its high fashion apparently….

In terms of comfort and durability, I really have to say they are amazing. Yes, appearance wise the are not. I did the Annapurna base camp trek in these shoes and they lasted me the whole trip and I still have them today and wear them on and off.
