A cheap and nasty version of the original Rubik's cube. Not full size so maybe something suitable for kid's party bags.
Product size (L x W x H): 3.00 x 3.00 x 3.00 cm / 1.18 x 1.18 x 1.18 inches

Went for this one. Always wanted one and might as well spend the extra 2 dollars then.. Though I know that is not in line with the ozbargain spirit!
Now I've just got to learn how to do these things..
I've heard that some of the third party cubes are actually better than the original Rubix cubes. Is that true? how does the MoYu one stack up?
You heard correctly. Anything MoYu will be good, as are a lot of third party cubes. https://www.cubezz.com is a great place to start your collection, as they have all the top rated models, though they are a little more expensive than GearBest.
Another cube lover here. I can't agree with Daabido more. Excellent advice.
There are also many cheap speed cubes out there. If I had my time over, I would have started with one of those, using finger tricks rather than hand based cube face rotations.
Is that a regular or smaller sized like in the post? I'm not sure if 56mm is official cube size.
Rubik's brand 3x3s are 57mm so it's negligible
Thanks for the link. Is there any specific difference between the black and white models considering the price difference or is it just the color preference? Thanks!
This is the only kind of Rubik's cube I can solve: https://openclipart.org/detail/189122/cube-one-color :)
Don't sell yourself short. I'm sure you could solve this one too; https://thecubicle.us/cube-19mm-p-3804.html
For anyone who is interested to learn, the Rubik's Cube official website has a good free PDF and videos you can learn from. Once you have mastered the basics, you can learn faster ways, but it's a good start.
I don't recommend official cubes though, as they are slower and much more expensive than brands like MoYu.
:) Actually I did dabble in it when it was first invented. Good to see it's still going strong among people who weren't born then.
Get something like this…

Nothing worse than having a crap cube.
Stickerless is good for those whose kids might peel the stickers off to "solve" it.
Works out a little cheaper here after postage; https://www.cubezz.com/Buy-5199-QiYi+Warrior+W+3x3x3+Sticker…
Bought a cube from bargain shop for my kids. Threw it into the bin before I got home as could not stand the smell of it. Yes it is the smell of toxic plastic. Bought them another one from Kmart after then, roughly $20 but safer.
That's really unfortunate. When you can pick up a decent starter cube for under $5 from overseas, it is disappointing bargain shops continue to import rubbish. The good news is that one cube is never enough!

Speed Solving is a great forum if you want to get into the community.
As a cube lover, I would recommend against making a cheap and nasty cube a child's first introduction to the puzzle. No doubt the cheaper cubes have become better over time, but for a few dollars more you can get a nice starter cube.
Something like this, or anything MoYu; https://www.gearbest.com/magic-tricks/pp_1545445.html
