Min spend has jumped to $69 as at 7:50AM, you can still get 8 meals for $44.65

I just noticed this coupon over at Sun Super dream rewards, seems like an awesome deal for Youfoodz!

I can confirm that I have tested it on 2 accounts with previous orders, and it worked both times. It says it's for new users, but seems like that isn't enforced.

Select 5 meals, and you will get 1 free surprise meal added into your box (for Deliveries between 5th and 11th of August/ 4th and 10th for QLD). Making it 6 meals for $24.75. Or add more meals, and get $25 off your order.

As always, enjoy!

Still no delivery to country WA….

    • +6

$20 Perth Metro delivery not much better

      • +12

Yeah.. Title should say Australia only

  • Thanks OP worked a treat

  • +1

So is the free meal based on delivery date or order date ?

    • Whoops, free meal is based on delivery date, as seen in the banner on the top of the linked page.

      • Great thanks. I completely missed that.

  • +6

Aren’t these meals tiny? I see people eating them at work and unless you weigh like 40kg I can’t see how one of them can fill you up.

Mymusclechef is the way to go

    • +2

Fills me up for a bit and I’m a bigger guy. They’re about 400 calories each I think, so yeah they’re smaller, but for $5 each I think it’s pretty good value.

    • +14

It's subjective. As someone who will over eat at any given opportunity, I think the smaller size is a good thing.

    • I wish they offered similar discounts, ordered some times but never got decent discounts. I find youfoodz tastier but mymusclechef is not too bad.

    • +2

I agree they are pretty small (I'm about 70kg, average build). I had my first one about a month ago for lunch at work and wasn't full, but wasn't feeling hungry either. There was once I ate 2 of these for dinner and I felt like a pig. So I'd say 1.5 of these would be sufficient for a meal to me anyway. At $4.16 per 'meal' I think it's pretty good value.

    • +5

I'm 6'2 and 105kg, and they are fine. Just on the small side of what I'd consider a meal. I'm a hell of an over eater, so this is a positive in my book. They also generally taste very good, particularly when comparing to other meals you can get for ~$5.

      • Yeah I'm 6 ft and similar weight, definitely on the smaller size, but I never feel like I'm still hungry after eating one. I don't feel full, but it feels at least like the right portion.

    • +1

Yeah I agree. Wish muscle chef had free postage though.

    • Yes, they are too small as a lunch for an average size man.

    • Im thinking they might be great for the wife cos she is around that weight and has small portions always. I wouldnt dream of it for myself though, well, i would need 2 of these i figure i should say.

    • +5

Over 2/3 of Australian adults are overweight or obese. Most of us could do with a 'tiny' meal

      https://www.aihw.gov.au/getmedia/172fba28-785e-4a08-ab37-2da…

      • True, but physically active Australians with a healthy weight also have one of the highest caloric intakes.

These meals are enjoyable for sure, but I needed other food or I was hungry.

    • Speaking from personal experience they satisfy me, but don't make me feel full. With Youfoodz I'll usually have a few smaller meals through the day rather than a big breakfast, lunch and dinner.

    • Agree, they are too small. I always have to have two meals, which becomes expensive.

    • If you want a larger size, get the loaded brekky pie. It's bigger than the normal meals and cheaper too.

Some meals will fill a whole box, some will only fill half a box.

I actually posted a bad review about the size on their website and someone gave me a call about it.

    • Yes they're small - maybe enough for lunch, but I wasn't able to use them as a sole meal for dinnertime.

They're fun for adding variety though.

  • +1

Ordered using 2 accounts (same delivery address) for delivery this Sunday to Victoria. Thanks OP!

  • Thanks OP, this sorts out lunch for work for another week.

  • +4

Shit postage to WA, if only they make it $10, would order these every week

  • +1

    Thanks. Worked.

  • When does the code expire? Can I order tomorrow ?

    • +2

I'd probably order right now to be safe, no official expiry but they may pull the offer. Not 100% sure though.

  • +1

Thank you!! Placed an order, even though the freezer is packed from the previous offer.

    • -1

hmmm these meals are not for freezing.

  • How do we know the free extra meal went through - didn't see anything during checkout. Ordered for Monday Aug 6 hopefully works!

    • There's no official confirmation, but they just chuck it into the order when it's packed :)

    • +4

I guess it's whatever meal is expiring lol.

  • -1

So unsure to order as last big deal got cancelled as code wasn't ment reach so many people

    • +1

      Are you referring to this?

    • Was not THRIVE?

  • +2

    Great find doweyy! Cheers

  • +1

I have a feeling they won't honour this for existing accounts because the T&C's specifically state new accounts. Not sure if I should bother

  • +1

Thanks OP! This is a great deal, possibly the best in terms of lowest price/meal.

  • Select 5 meals, and you will get 1 free surprise meal added into your box (for Deliveries between 4th and 11th of August

    wrong, should be

Select 5 meals, and you will get 1 free surprise meal added into your box (for Deliveries between 5th and 11th of August)

    • Thanks, updated.

    • It's not really a surprise if you know about it..

      • suprise because you don't know which meal

    • The * says BNE, GC, TWB deliveries. 4-10 Aug

So it means 5-11 aug deliveries elsewhere?

  • Thanks OP!

  • actually next to free surprise meal logo, there is a star (*)
but i cant find the term and condition for it except for the delivery date range

  • Thanks OP! Order placed, let's see if it gets processed.

  • Conditions say: Valid for first time customer only who are members of the Sunsuper Rewards Program.

How likely is it that it will get cancelled ?

  • i always order and come here for the discounts, this is the best coupon yet. most are one or two free meals.

  • checked out as guest, never ordered from them.. well if they honor it I'll probably buy from them again.. but tbh don't see them honouring

    • +1

to add, the minimum spend stated on the website is $69…

    • Normally their good specials are $29.75 for 6 meals. I got them for $24.65 this time (4 meals and 4 smaller things like pies, juices, yoghurt). Cheap, yes, but not too much less than their normal specials that they honour.

They keep giving me bonus gifts too, like bags/mugs, since I've ordered from them 5 times now.

  • Bring back the $30 off $69 spend!!!

    • This one is cheaper.

      • I recall their my meals being $8.95 each they've all gone up, a price increase is reasonable but that's why this discount looks good too.

        • But they introduce cheaper cost to made meals like pizza laksa etc
And maybe they play around with the portion ie make them smaller, who knows.

  • Won’t bother remember last time it got pulled with refunds? It’s a litttle to cheap and they would be at a huge loss.

Valid for first time customer only who are members of the Sunsuper Rewards Program. Valid for single use only

  • When does it expire?

  • Thanks doweyy, 3rd time ordering best code so far. Cheers

  • never try youfoodz, just order, thanks OP

I've had Youfoodz a few times, twice ordering from online and random purchases at IGA and other stores. I really like some of their food, they are perfect for my diabetes - if I choose wisely, I dont even need extra insulin. However, I am always hungry a short time after eating. I've reverted to old habits lately and am eating way too much at the evening meal, thus, I am not losing weight, and am unable to reduce my insulin. So… I'm not getting these yet. First, LiteNEasy for a couple of months, by which time my need to eat more should be significantly less, and then youfoodz for the smaller meals. I really love this stuff! (also, I'm sick of cooking at the moment!)

    • +1

I find that too - I lose weight with youfoodz but am starving between meals, so end up doubling up. I still lose a trivial amount of weight, but at least that's better than gaining. It's the carbs in 'em - not super high by any means but enough to cause that hunger. I have far more success with high fat, carbs < 20g, even if not for long enough periods to go into ketosis. It keeps the hunger away. Some days I'll just have bulletproof coffees as I'm simply not hungry. It just gets pretty boring.

  • Thanks OP, first time I've ordered from this co. At this price I can actually justify it. Hopefully the meals aren't too small as it seems people are obsessed these days with losing weight for some reason when gaining it is much harder.

  • Thanks bruv just about to eat my last youfoodz today !

  • +1

Thanks doweyy, placed one order for me and one for wife :)

  • So it says delivery coming Sunday, can they be more specific? Anyone have experience with what time of day they are delivered, do they text u or anything?

    • +1

they will send you both email and text before the delivery, another one when the driver on the way and one more when this is delivered :)

  • Nice one op

  • +1

The range of food has really shrunk.

  • Thank you!! Nice way for me to try Youfoodz.

  • New users only now

'Your account doesn't meet the requirements for this promotion code'

    • +1

Still works for existing users, min spend has jumped to $69 though.. I'll have to expire it the deal, but I'll put a disclaimer in as that.

      • Can't you just change the minimum spend in the title?

        • I can't unfortunately as the votes would have mostly been for the 6 for $24.75, I'm sure if people are interested they'll look into the description :)

Edit: Looks like moocher has actually allowed it.

  • Mine says Your cart does not meet the requirements for the SUNSUPER-25 discount code

Current cart is $49.70, added 4 meals and 2 breakfast things. Have never ordered with them before.

    • Yeah minimum spend is now $69 unfortunately.

  • Even with $69 spend its saying spend requirements not met. Edit: changed delivery date from 11th to 10th and it worked.

    • +2

I'm a decent sized guy and the size is ok. Not massive, but good for portion control.

  • +2

Love youfoodz! Wish they had better vego options though :'(

  • +1

Expired :( That's a bugger, I'm feeling ravenous after looking at all the pics.

    Now it's 8 meals for $54.60

    • still okay price, give them a try Ash.

      • Yes, but I'll give it 24hours to let the disappointment settle (for not getting the $24 offer) before giving it a go.

PS. Can anyone speak as to how long these will last in the fridge? How do they fare when frozen?

        • I think fresh it will last in the fridge 5-7 days, and you can freeze it but some people said it probs won't taste as good (I personally haven't tried it tho). Hope this helps :)

        • +1

@knight321: yeah they said best to consume in 5 days. unless you freeze them earlier. i tried to freeze some for 2 weeks before eating them, well, i still alive so the food is okay not sure about taste i am not masterchef judges

        • +1

5-7 days. I think fish meals are 5 days. Some of the meals differ in taste after being frozen, you eventually figure out which ones you can eat from the fridge vs frozen. But overall taste doesn't change too much.

        • +2

          @knight321:

Ok. Thanks for that…. Under $7 sounds pretty cheap for a fresh meal delivered, even if I have to freeze a couple of them.

I'll wait for the $25 discount to return though.

        • @jubs:

Cheers, I think the salmon would be one that wouldn't freeze well!

        • @ash2000: This is my third batch order and I haven't had a complaint since - I defs recommend that you try the chicken laksa and Butter chicken!

        • +1

          @knight321:

          Ok. Cheers!

  • Looks like it's expired now, even for a $69 order.

    • Ahh yep, looks completely expired now.

      • Damn….. Back to McCain I go!

  • Thank you OP I bought 6 meals for $34 this morning, delivered on Monday 6.

  • My order is supposed to be getting delivered tomorrow. Did anyone get a confirmation email?

    • +1

      Usually later tonight. sms.

    • yes, they bombarded my email account with 3 emails within a minute of the transaction.

    • @amylk
Hey xxxxx! Your Youfoodz order is set for delivery tomorrow #Yay We predict it will be at your doorstep between 8am and 3pm, but you'll get an updated ETA soon! With Love, YF

  • These legends even chucked in a tiny little bottle of wine and chocolate for me! Very nice! Also there are two freezable bags but idk what's in them lmao

    • Me too. Awesome. I did get a double up as the free meal was the steak and mushroom but not complaining. Wouldnt order again at normal price but with coupons not bad to keep around for convenience.
