Bose Lifestyle 600 No TV Image via HDMI

Hi guys

I was wondering if someone here might know a fix to a problem I'm having with my Bose lifestyle 600.
I just bought a Linden TV (not smart) today & when I plugged my Bose 600 via hdmi I don't get a pic nor sound.
I have a smart Samsung in the living room & that works perfectly with the Bose.
Can someone pls recommend me a solution to this ?

  Is the port on the Linden TV broken? Does anything else work when plugged into that?

    Other devices work thru tv's hdmi ports.

  Not familiar with your hardware, but do the speakers need ARC and does your TV support it?

    Hdmi1 on the linden has arc & that's how I've connected the Bose.

      Probably not switched on via the TV settings.

        I get a pic & sound on my Samsung TV without messing with any settings.

        @sidewinder1:

        That doesn't mean Linden is the same.

        My Sony you have to switch Bravia Sync on to allow the TV to control other devices.

        Otherwise ARC and Cec don't work.

  Turned on CEC & ARC,it's working now.
