I'm really hoping there's something I'm missing but I kind of don't think so :(
I recently purchased 2 units of Xiaomi Air Purifiers (2nd gen) from Gearbest. I picked them up yesterday before heading into work, then got home and happily powered both up and they were running nicely overnight. I turned both off this morning before heading off to work. Came back tonight and tried to turn them back on, and it looks like only one has power. The other is presumably dead? I've tried swapping and using the working unit's cable, tried plugging it into a different power source/point but it just won't turn on.
Does anyone have any suggestions? Am I missing something?
Like the working unit beeps once after I plug it back in or turn the power on, and then I press the power button and it starts up with the lights on. The other unit does not beep, and won't turn on as a result.
Is there anything else I can try? It's gonna be a #%@$%#! to return the dead unit back to HK/China! ;_;
EDIT: I've just noticed on the inside of the filter doors a big difference between the 2 units. If you look at the photo I've taken, the working unit has coloured instructions printed on the inside door cover, whereas the unit that no longer powers on has instructions that are imprinted or laser etched into the plastic. Does this mean anything?
