Found a clearence tag for the LEGO Avengers Helicarrier 76042 for $199 reduced from $475.
None were on the shelf, but I asked the lovely lady at Lay-by and snagged one. I am unsure if Charlestown had any more (the kids and wife were complaining about my bargain shopping before the sale started).

I give up… tried 3 stores and had nothing…… still ended up buying some Lego at 20% off which I would normally be happy with but this and other post about ridiculous clearance price killed my mojo!!! lol
My local Big W (Winston Hills) always has big sets like the Helicarrier, Porsche, Big Bucket etc behind the laybuy desk.

I got the one I had on hold at Elizabeth. Box is in better condition then I thought it would be. Lay by lady wouldn’t take an extra 20% off. Oh well - good deal nevertheless.

Tried Watergardens, Melton, and Highpoint, no joy. Guy at Highpoint checked the system for stock at other stores and said there was nothing anywhere
