You don't really have to buy them. There are other much cheaper bluetooth options.
Oneplus earbuds seem to be getting good reviews at around $100 aud.

There is light, it’s only visible when you open the lid though. I’d be more eager in regard to improvements with the sound quality.
The new ones are rumoured to have support for “Hey Siri” too if you care for that.

The Bluetooth range is great - I can listen from across a whole double brick house with mine.
They connect very quickly and easily across all my Apple devices - I often use them watching through my Apple TV to avoid waking the baby.
Yes they cost a bit and I agree they look silly, but they work really well, with surprisingly good sound quality. If you’re locked into the Apple ecosystem it’s a no brainer. If not there are lots of other Bluetooth options too.
Is sydneytec reliable? Bought some stuff from them recently mid July, nothing for a week and after I contacted them they said item out of stock. next shipment only due in mid aug.
