Hi guys, pretty simple request. I've been looking for a cinema that's showing Your Name, the film released in 2016. I've seen it but want to watch it again in a cinema. As it's relatively old, no cinemas are showing it when I search for a session. I was wondering if anyone knew of a cinema that might have a special screening of the film in the near future that was in Sydney.

Notifications aren't popping up for me so this reply is very late. Just because I enjoy going to the cinemas :) I don't like watching too much at home, I feel like the atmosphere isn't quite the same. My place never gets that dark and I don't have a huge TV either

My place doesn't have something quite so grand like a cinema. I really enjoyed the film when I watched it the first time and that was at home. I'm sure I'd enjoy it even more if I were to watch it at the cinemas

Golden Age cinema and bar in Sydney regularly show old films and are constantly showing Ghibli films. Might be able to put a request in and see if then plan on showing it again soon.
Other than that should have seen it in cinemas when it came out son Madman has been on top of their game lately with getting cinema screenings of almost everything new they aquire.
Try asking at various Uni anime clubs. They will/could probably screen it since the blu-ray is already out.
