I am porting from Vodafone over to Amaysim and they are saying there is an Optus network outage therefore my sim is not “activated”
I received the sms confirmation that the port request has been received by Vodafone and another email confirmation from amaysim 30min after that the porting and activation is successful. However, I still do not have any network and is unable to make any outgoing calls; it just have a recorded msg saying the sim is not activated.
Jumped on the Optus coverage site and it does not show any outage.
Tried the Amaysim live chat and they are blaming it on the network outage.
Is anyone else face the same issue today?
No problem here with network access.
What happens if you call your number from another line? (wondering if maybe it was ported to the wrong SIM)
