So recently I opened up my laptop's hard drive enclosure thinking I'd put in this spare 1tb sata drive I had, only to realise that unfortunately my laptop's so old it takes ide.
I've looked around on ebay and some of the online computer shops that I know about and they either try to charge exorbitant amount for small space or don't have any at all.
My laptop currently has 160Gb drive so anything above that would be good.
Thanks in advance.
im guessing 320GB will be sufficient
i wouldn't mind buying off ebay as most will be genuine/usable
and also you can use the 160 GB IDE drive and connect it up to a hard drive enclosure(make sure its IDE) and have a spare 160GB HD
Remember you have a old laptop and therefore it is IDE, and IDE is more expensive than SATA
320GB(eBay)—>$135
