Travel Sim with The Most Available Countries

I've used a variety of travel sims over the years and I still wish I could get a deal as good as the one I had with Global Gig a few years back. Under that arrangement, the sim worked in most countries in the world and I was able to travel through Europe, USA and South America without changing sim card. They don't offer that plan anymore.

Now when I check travel sims, there always seems to be a limit on the countries visited such as the 3 UK sim which only allows certain countries in Europe and a few random extras such as Australia. Anyone got any suggestions for a travel sim which works in a huge number of countries? It fees like there has to be a solution!

    Get yourself a 3 mobile UK sim card. It's the best. Look it up, If interested, I can give you more details on how to obtain/recharge in Australia

    Times have changed, why not just enable international roaming and use wifi in Hotels/Cafes/Etc.

    Last couple trips through Europe this was more than enough.

        I had it enabled purely for emergency contacts; most knew I was travelling and would Whatsapp or send an SMS.

        You could then call using a data service avoiding expensing roaming calls.
