As of 11 February 2011, Amazon UK has free super saver delivery to Australia on orders over £25.
They still remove VAT from DVDs and Blu-rays, and the prices on a few items that I looked at had not increased in recent days to compensate for the free delivery.
With the current exchange rate, minus the VAT, the conversion rate is approximately £1 = AUD$1.33. For example, a DVD listed at £9.99 would cost roughly AUD$13.33 delivered (assuming it was part of a larger order which attracted the free delivery).
Mod: Updated title and expiry
That changed the buying pattern as well, used to buy only big boxset for single delivery fee. now we can buy cheap single item with free delivery!
