        i bought my MP640 quite a few months ago
        the RRP was $299, i got it for $199 @ OW, along with $100 worth of printing accessories
        and this printer is a pretty good one as well

    Well rather spending $80 for 'genuine' I would go for 'imitation' cartridges just for $20 delivered, that I never found difference in print quality.

      I have never come across a 3rd party canon ink that doesn't fade ( photos ) although lyson ink is not too bad

        yeah i have heard 'horror' stories from using 3rd party ink
        such as leaking of the ink, fading of colour, etc

        i am currently using Calidad on my main printer (MP640) and have had no issues so far

      I got those from following ebay guy. Only reason to select this guy out of other guys who sell ink in ebay, this guy got 99.9% positive and only neg he got is not related to ink he sells. But if you search more you might find much cheaper deals too…

      Regarding quality and delivery, this guy use a courier (not austpost) and delivery is very quick. He had done nice packaging and also cartridges out appearance was very nice. And most important thing, print quality is so good(I use Canon MX870 printer). But note that I never use those cartridges for photo printing. So I can't give any comment on that. I just have to do a reasonable lot of paper printing only.

      I used genuine ink cartridges for years then decided to follow the whole "there is no difference" theme. Not long after I put in the first "compatible" ink in, that specific colour dried and clogged up.. no amount of cleaning etc (including removing the print head and physically cleaning it) fixed it.. So $200 later for a new printer I will only use genuine inks from now on. I realise some people have been successful (lucky?) but just warning people it is a gamble.

    True but if you are attached to your printer then you would wanna keep it and just buy the ink however comparing this with other deals such as form OW and BigW and Target, there is a huge saving on it with this deal.

      I bought HP ink from this site before for my other HP Printer few weeks back and the expiry date on that HP one was due in June 2012 so plenty of time however I am unsure about the Canon ones as from reading over the net it doesn't seem like Canon and Lexmarks have any exp date as such, but then again maybe they do…
