I was bored enough and read a review. This is a decent unit and would seriously kill $199 active speakers or soundbars etc.

    • Thanks for the heads up re shipping. Title edited. Please use the Report function next time to alert mods to such oversight.

    • Mostly true but not in use for watching tv. Missing centre speaker so not ideal. Would be fantastic for music though!!

yes this deal ends on 31st july
its only avaliable on our website.

    • Might be a good to fix up your images to avoid irate customers who thought they were getting speakers with decent dome tweeters rather than the old cone tweeters.

    • Isn't loud enough?

10% distortion is a little above what used to be considered standard. Still, a 300 W per channel one would double the volume.

15 Watts would be fine - I can and have driven a pair of Sansui SP3500s with a 12 Watt Pioneer Stereo-master valve amp, and 1% THD at 15 watts would be almost acceptable [though ~ 3 times 'normal' consumer level hi-fi]. 10% and you may as well be listening to an auto-tune player rather than a vocalist or musician…
This may be fine for Duff-duff or computer games, but it's a shame to see the Pioneer name on this. Couldn't they buy out Sharp or outsource it to one of the Philips throw-away brands…
